	Taken from the signal box an unidentified class 47/4 approaches North Pole Junction where it will turn right, drop down and under the W.L.L. and emerge at Old Oak Common. 	A busy scene at Sheffield Midland. 31441 has charge of 1O86 the 1400 Leeds to Brighton. A Class 101 DMU is berthed, as is 45109 which has just brought in 1J01 the 1322 Hull to Brighton portion. 	45135 '3rd Carabiner' waits at Hull to depart with 1J01 the 1324 to Brighton. This service attaches at Sheffield to the 1400 ex Leeds.
