INTRODUCTION:
The 2004 timetable saw both trains to Liverpool switched back to Manchester otherwise there was little change in the service. I have included for comparison the 1980 schedule of the 0920 departure from Brighton, remember this was a class 47 and 7 Mk1 coaches and included a locomotive change at Birmingham New Street.
The main timetable change date was moved to December from this year and the tables will be adjusted to follow this.
